Introduction

After a gap of three years The Tabligh Committee of Dar es Salaam Jamaat is once again organizing a summer camp for both boys and girls of the community. The camp is open for boys from age 14 to 20 and girls from 15 to 21. Participants are expected from all over the World.

Fees:
The fees have been fixed at TShs 200,000.00 or USD 250/=.This includes, transport to and from Dar es Salaam and full board at the camp. Families not able to make any contributions must contact the organizers, in confidence.

No camper will be refused acceptance on grounds of genuine financial hardship. The fee is payable when the application is accepted.

Camps Objective

• Provide a friendly and productive atmosphere for learning Islamic issues and manners.
• Instill a habit of good Islamic lifestyle.
• Raise awareness of religious and related issues.
• Develop public speaking skills.
• Enlighten on medical issues.
• Assist in building a habit of self reliance.
• Learn about study skills.
• Be exposed to various careers from practicing professionals.
• Develop social interaction with others from different backgrounds and cultures.

Instructors

The Residential instructors have been carefully selected, for their religious and secular educational contributions, to impart a broad specialist spectrum of curriculum, topics, styles, Knowledge and cross culture experiences to the Campers. The medium of instruction will be English.

Journey Schedule

• Wednesday December 19th 2001 - Dar es Salaam group leaves for Nakuru. Overnight stay at Nairobi
• Thursday December 20th 2001 - Dsm /Tanga /Moshi / Artusha/ Mombasa etc... groups Leave for Nakuru.
  Kenya / Uganda / Overseas group join the caravan at Nairobi.
• Friday 3rd January 2002 - Entire group leaves Nakuru via Nairobi to Dar es Salaam.
