Imame-Zamana(a.s.)'s mother's name before her marriage was called Melika.She was the daughter of Yashooa. And a grand-daughter of Caeser, the powerful and mighty emperor of Rome. Bibi Melika's mother was from the progeny of Shamoon , one of the disciples and followers of Hazrat Esa(a.s). He was the successor of Hazrat Esa (a.s).And so Bibi Melika was from the lineage of Shamoon the successor of Hazrat Esa(a.s) as well as of Caeser. At the age of 13 yrs the grandfather Caeser decided to get her married to one of his nephew. So on the night of marriage he called all the Christians priests, ministers, leaders and courtiers, seated his nephew on the throne studded with diamonds and asked the priest to perform the marriage. No sooner had the priest commenced the recitation from the Holy Book and the whole place began to shake then all the idols on the wall collapsed and the prince (groom) fell off the throne and his dead body was scattered everywhere.

After a long time passed, one day Caeser again summoned all the Christians priests and took a decision to marry his grand-daughter with the brother of the past groom, thinking that this marriage relationship will bring prosperity in the country. Bad omen and disaster will perish from the country. But Alas!! The moment the priest commenced the recitation and the same calamity befell them.

And so Bibi Melika went to her room with tears and kept her head on the pillow cried so much until she went into a deep sleep. In her deep sleep she saw a pleasant and beautiful dream; she was in another world that completely changed the path of her life. She saw a palace of Caeser and other lots of nobles and elderly gentleman with a glowing countenance.

Hazrat Esa(a.s) was present with his faithful followers. Her grandfather Shamoon was present too. Bibi Melika could recognize them from whatever she read and heard about them. They were all gathered and were pointing towards
her and whispering and smiling. Hazrat Esa(a.s) was also happy and smiling. In the place where the throne of Caeser was always kept, an enlightened pulpit was kept. It was huge and big and its end was not known. And its radiance and lusters were dazzling like sun rays which brightened the whole place. At that very moment a Holy and shining person entered the hall.

Everybody stood up to pay their respect, there was silence everywhere. This great man went towards the pulpit . Hazrat Esa(a.s) went forward and embraced him, welcomed him and his companions. At this moment Bibi Melika came to know that this Holy man was the last Prophet, Hazrat Muhammed Mustafa(s.a.w) and the one who was behind him was the groom and successor of Hazrat Ali (a.s). And all the other men were the sons of the Holy Prophet(s.a.w) from the lineage of Hazrat Ali(a.s).

Then the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) turned toward Hazrat Esa(a.s) and said, O' Soul of Allah, I have come to ask and propose for Melika, the daughter of your successor Shamoon for my son (and pointed to the youngest of all those
present). He is Imam Hassan Askari(a.s) and the son of Imam Hadi(a.s). He is the eleventh Imam and the leader of the muslims. Then Hazrat Esa(a.s.) turned towards Shamoon and asked, "O Shamoon ! An everlasting honour and dignity has been destined for you. Put your lineage in the generation of the Holy Prophet(s.a.w). Shamoon with full heart and respect said, I am indebted and under great obligation. I heartily accept this grand proposal. And it is an honour for me until the day of Judgement.

The Holy Prophet(s.a.w) smiled in such a way that his white and graceful teeth could be seen. Then he recited a sermon of marriage agreement between Imam Hassan Askari(a.s) and Bibi Melika. Hazrat Esa(a.s), Shamoon and all the other Imams and the companions were a witness to this ceremony. Slowly Bibi Melika lifted her head to see the groom whose love and affection had ingrained in her heart. Her heart was overflowing with his affection and expectation. Bibi Melika's eyes abruptly opened and was full of joy of recalling the dream. However, overcome by fear she did not narrate this to anyone. However, her health began to worsen as she was pining for Imam Hassan Askari(a.s) and became restless.

One day her grandfather Caeser who liked her very much came to visit her and asked her if she had any wish or desire in her heart, and Bibi Melika told him that if he could desist and abandon the persecution and torture of the muslims prisoners, remove their chains of captivity, open the doors of the prisoners and give them water, food and clothing and release them from the bondage of captivity then I am hopeful that Hazrat Esa(a.s) and the Holy Mariam(a.s) will return my health and cheer back to me.

Caeser who loved his grand daughter had to accept and approve this request though it was a big and difficult one.
Then he issued an immediate directive to release the muslim prisoners from their bondage and captivity. After this incident my health became better and better.

Once in a dream I saw the daughter of the Prophet Janabe Fatema(a.s). I rose in reverence to her and complained about my condition and my separation from Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari(a.s). She told me to recite the KALIMA and to testify to the Unity of Allah and the Prophethood of Muhammed (s.a.w) and become a muslim and then only would she ask the Imam to visit me daily in my dreams. I recited the testimony and became a Muslim, and since then every night the Imam visited me in my dreams and consoled me. " I could not come and visit you because you were not the follower of Islam. But as you have become a muslim now, I will come to visit you every night".

From that night onwards Imam Hassan Askari(a.s) came to visit me every night. Once the Imam said to me that my grandfather would send an army to attack a muslim country and that I should change my dress and join the army as one
of the attendants. The muslim would win and I would be arrested with others and that I should join the other prisoners of war. Thereafter, the battle commenced, Bibi Melika disguised herself as a nurse and woman attendant and entered the battlefield along with the Roman army. The muslim waged a night assault against Roman. The Roman army was defeated and retreated backwards.

A lot of people were killed and many were taken as prisoners of war. Bibi Melika was also among the captives and that they were made to board the ship and were brought to Baghdad and that's how she reached to her Imam.
